japanese village
a food-full day for me today... Woohoo...
This morning, went to cafe cartel with my family and auntie and had breakfast cum lunch over there... ordered a few breakfast meals and eat lor but nw no nid go cashier yourself to order the food lar... anyway today the food served the cafe cartel seems bad... 2 of the eggs are quite uncooked, the brewed coffee taste weird, the orange juice got rubber taste... even the free flow bread oso taste weird lar... my auntie keep callin the waitress and complain abt all the food for few times and the manager come over lor and suggested to change the eggs, bread, orange juice and coffee for new ones lor...haha... feel like we are the food critics goin to their outlets and test out the food served by them...haha
anyway last wk i talked abt the new japanese restaurant situated at tamp swimming complex, i din manage to go and try last wk so today went over there for dinner with my family... pull my dad along 2 and he tried japanese dishes and sushi for the 1st time...haha... yea yea.......alot of ppl queue up lor and the restaurant is big... the the ambience of the restaurant is veri gd and the idea of the restaurant is veri interesting... 1st ting there is no menu of the food and drinks they served... 2nd ting is that there is a central conveyor belt where all the sushi are, wif the chef in the centre preparing all the sushi.... 3rd ting is that if u wan to order any drinks or those cooked food like ramen, don, shashimo etc.... u juz have to walk ard where all the food are cooked, take 1 of the bamboo sticks which has the name of the dish or drink that u want, bring back the bamboo stick to ur table and put into the basket which is on ur table.... after that the waitress will come over to the table and take the basket and order the food for you and WOLA, after waitin for a few mins, the dish and drinks will be served to you... hha.... the sushi is go take urself from the conveyor belt... each sushi plate is $0.99 lor (CHEAP!!!)... the ramen and udon and don are served in those hotbowls de... tried alot of food and sushi and i can say most of them are delicious lor.... veri veri gd and i like the ambience... somemore is next to swimmin complex, so after swimming can juz go in and have some sushi or ramen oso shiok... will go there again le...
my family and i eat till so full man and when we left the restaurant at 7.30pm, there was a freakin long queue outside but the restaurant is already full house le... lucky we go there early...
ok lar tt's all for today... veri tired... anyway i bought a new tank an bike model...haha

sushi day
today is a great wkend wor...haha... tis morning went to haf lunch with my mum and sister at Sakae Sushi at Century Sq. there is a promotion going on at Sakae Sushi until today which is $9 for every 9 color plates excluding the red plates of course.. lol... we ate 10 plates and 1 red plate, in addition to 1 plate of shashimo, 1 teriyaki don... ate till so full sia... haha... the bill add up to $40 including GST and service charge... lucky we reach there early cos there was a super long queue after tt, all must have come for the promotion lar... typical singaporeans... wahaha... ate alot of my fav sushi but the dish tt makes us most filling is the teriyaki don cos got rice ma... hee.. a heavy brunch(breakfast cum lunch)... tis is the 1st time my mum went into sakae sushi to eat wor... previously always ask her to go eat, she wun go in de but today she did and she ate alot... haha... nice nice... so happy.. next is to ask my dad to go and try cos he also haben go in once b4 to eat... haha...
next in the afternoon, went out to meet Lulu at orchard road... she went to cineleisure 1st to have lunch at a jap "fastfood" kind of shop while i watch her eat cos i still very full from the heavy brunch earlier... chatted while she eat and then we walk ard lor... then went to takashimaya and walk ard... went to a cake shop and bought a mini truffle cake.. tt's my very belated bday present frm Lulu.. LOL!!!!! there were so many choc cakes and narrow it down to orea and truffle cake... we decided which cake to buy by playin scissors, paper, stone lar... the auntie must be laughing inside her heart... haha... Lulu won and choose oreo cake lar but in the end she change her mind and bot the truffle instead.. so funny... then we walk to the crystal jade and saw the staff making egg tarts... wah din noe egg tarts so hard to make... the staff crack 3 and half tray of eggs to make onli abt 30 egg tarts... wah...cool... met wif lulu for abt 2 hrs then she haf to go home liaox so i pass her her bday present b4 we part ways... bot her a 300pieces jigsaw puzzle...
then went to bedok to meet up wif my parents for dinner time... yea... then went to ntuc to shop and buy tings lor b4 going home... juz read that there is a new jap restaurant right beside Tamp Swimming Complex wor... it's called Jap village, the cheapest plate of sushi is ..........$0.99 wor and the most expensive dish is $30 for a plate of lobster and after u finish eating the lobster, the staff can use the shell and head to boil a lobster soup lor... haha maybe tml going to try with my parents... Yeah!!!!!

1 wk long nv blog le... hee... sorry blog...
yest morning went for my 6th driving lesson... today learn new tings... i learn how to make a u-turn... seem to look easy from outside but seriously if u tink tt way, u are wrong... cos u cannot make a full turn too early or too late.. too early, u will hit the kerb beside the car, too late u will hit the kerb by the roadside... i onli succeeded in doing a successful u-turn at my 6th try... the 1st 5 times is I either too late turn or forget to stop before turning... The reason is cos once u make a full turn of the steering wheel, u still have to stop before turning... it requires alot of co-ordination of ur legs, hands and eye... haha.... nvm... i will jiayou de... hee...
my mum bought a new phone today... cost $88 for samsung phone Z540 which is a 3G phone... it is a flip phone and is on promotion at M1. the promotion price is $138 but cos my mum pay by credit card, so additional $50 discount... the phone is quite slim and light and nice... finally she uses a gd phone... LOL
at nite went to my cousin house for a gathering organised by him... he organised the gathering is cos he wanted to see all his relatives and cousin as he misses all of us after a long attachment in AUS with the RSAF.. he is a full colonel wor.. admire him... had fun with my all my cousins and had a great talk with my relatives... a great night to remember cos seldom get to have such a big gathering where all are present lar... hee... play till abt 10.30pm and is time to go home lor so bid farewell to everyone...

A tribute to Mr Croc, Steve Irwin
hai... world most beloved and famous, icon for Australian zoo, Mr Croc Steve Irwin has died yest after being stung by a stingray... life is so unexpected.... nv believed and tot tt he will died like that but is happy that he died while doin wat he loves best... Croc Rulezzz!!!
and now..... a min of silence please for Mr "Croc" Steve Irwin!!!

RSAF open hse
went to RSAF open hse yest with my mum and sister... woo fun and took many pics... watch the aerial show at 5pm and the show is nice.... can hear how loud the F-16s are even though they are just idling and goin to taxi into the runway ready for take off... amazing... oso saw how the KC-135 refuel the F-5s and oso lots more... the familiar sight is the Red Lions whom we always saw during National Day... they just appear frm out of nowhere... lol... too bad din take much pics during the aerial show cos cam batt went flat...haha... sian... show u all the pics ba
