TP practical test
today is D-Day!!! today is my 1st attempt at TP test and i so nervous about it... scared i cant pass sia plus tis morning raining so heavily lor...
left home at 8.20am to meet up my instructor to do warm-up inside the circuit and the main road... drive from 9.30am to 11.15am before taking a break... 11.30am went to the waiting room to wait for the tester to come and call our names and tell us which route we goin to take later... mine is route 8 lor and is a route with fewer cars and 1 of the easier routes lar... LUCKY!!! haha
so start of test le... start off smoothly lor... inside the circuit, start off with doing the slope parking lor but hai... when i stop, i forget to put back to gear 1 before moving off the slope and the car stalled and rolled backwards but lucky i stop it in time and do the remedy lor... at 1st i tot "oh no!! going to be not my day le" but heng sia after tt everything is smooth... did directional change, parallel parking, perpendicular turn, perpendicular parking, s turn after the slope and everything is smooth... YEA!!! so veri fast exit the circuit and go to the main road liaox... yippe... minus 6 points inside the circuit. after leaving the circuit, everything was smoothly until a junction where i brake too late but lucky got stop in time lar... and everything was ok and there are quite few cars on my test route lar... so happy and lucky cos like this easier to do overtaking, change lanes and can make lesser mistakes lor... haha...
next i was doin left turn at a junction lar... the signage says turn left on red, meaning u can turn left even tho the traffic light says red... i see the bus is coming veri slow and on it signal so i turn out left but who noes the bus come veri fast and nv turn so for tis mistake i was being minus 4 points for failure to check for traffic at junction... after this mistake, everything was veri veri smooth and the tester ask me to drive back to the driving centre le... follow him to the discussion room and he brief me on the mistakes tt i make lor... he say all are quite minor mistakes lar and tell me dun brake too late or turn too wide next time.. he oso ask me whether i noe my mistake tt i did at the left turn junction and the slope and i say i noe le... so after counting all the demerit points, the total demerit points i got is 12 points... the limit is 20 points lar so if u get 20 or more, is a failure le... so tt means i PASSED on my 1ST ATTEMPT!!!
YEA!!! HAPPY HAPPYafter tt went to tell my instructor abt the news and pay him the money for today lor. then went to watch the safety video and to make my driving license le... getting it in 2 wks time!! YEA!!! right nw i can drive liaox and it oso means tis coming CNY i can drive oso le... YIPPE AI AI YIPPE YIPPE AI!!! HAHA CONGRATS ME...

shopping spree
ok some updates of my wkend
for 3 straight days last wk, i went for my driving lesson cos my TP test is juz next friday le.. nervous sia.. still some mistakes here and there lar... scared scared sia for the test... goin to have my last 2 lessons tis wkend b4 the test next fri le... wish me luck ba
sat nite went to marina sq with my parents to do some shopping lor... look and see see any nice cny clothes can start to buy le... i goin to have a makeover soon, wear some clothes i haben been wearing for a long long time.. 1st stop went to Samuel and Kevin and saw some nice pair of jeans lor... my dad and i bot a pair of jeans each and i bot an additional long sleeve shirt... nice nice wor...
after tt shop around and see see look look b4 goin to the food court for dinner... my whole family ate the quite famous roasted meat stall at the food court.. ordered roasted suckling pig, pipa duck and the roasted bbq pork (char siao)... at 1st my dad and i tot is mixed tog and give 4 person share but we were wrong...haha... the whole meal cost $55 and it was worth it cos is not mix tog de... is 1 big plate of char siao, another plate of the suckling pig and almost the half of the pipa duck... eat until super full wor... hee :) while we were queuing to buy the food, saw an ang moh from duno which country tryin to order the food from the same stall oso... a sporean customer veri nice to help him order lar cos he duno which is nice... but the funny ting is when he wan to pay, he took out his credit card and wan to pay but food court no credit card payment de ma so the angmoh took out a piece of 100US dollars and wan to pay...haha the cashier stun so ask him whether he got smaller note... guess wat!! he took out 50 euros dollars note.. haha... so bo bian the cashier took the 100US dollars and convert to sing and give him S$139 as change lor... then he ask whether the change is it enough for him to pay for the drinks... LOL!!!!
so after dinner, went to shop around again lar and bot more clothes and accessories... hee... i bot a set of Metal Gear Solid 2 trade figurines and another pair of jeans... so my pants for cny is settled liaox... left the clothes and shoes.. need 2 new pair of shoes (sneakers and running shoes), a shirt and another 2 polo or round neck tees... saw a few nice ones at Puremilk lar but nv buy cos nv bring the voucher which my sis haf.. my sis and mum oso bot a pair of jeans each...while shopping, my mum saw the 4D result on her phone and realise she strike 4D of $250... haha...
gd enough le tho.. not greedy ma cos she at 1st dun wan to buy tt number de...haha... shop till abt 9pm then go home le...
cool sia... wat a shopping spree... tis coming week may go to bugis junction and bugis street to shop again... wooo... 1 more mth to CNY!!! goin to have reunion dinner wif 1 of my relatives family at SAFRA Sakura restaurant... decided to go there because every yr eat steamboat oso sian lar... wanted bbq initially but booted the idea cos scared rain and ma fan... hee
btw i fix 2 new model bikes recently... pics will be uploaded soon .. stay tuned!!
